Frequently asked.

Things people ask before they download.

Is it available now?
Yes — AstroCaddy is live on the App Store. Tap "Download on iOS" above to grab it on your iPhone.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. The iOS app is out now; Android is on the roadmap for later in 2026. Drop your email above and we'll let you know the day it ships.
Do I need a telescope to use it?
No. Naked-eye and binocular observations count just as much. Some of the best leaderboard entries come from a backyard and a pair of 10×50s.
How is this different from Stellarium or Star Walk?
Those are sky maps — they show you what's up tonight. AstroCaddy is what you fill in afterward: which objects you actually observed, what gear you used, and where that puts you on the leaderboard.
Will my data be sold or used for ads?
No ads, no analytics SDKs, no trackers, no third-party data sharing. Your logs and equipment are yours. The full breakdown is in the privacy policy.
What happens if I delete my account?
Everything is erased — observations, vault, photos, and your leaderboard standing. No retained backup. The button is in Settings.
